Students on a US school bus have been flung around the vehicle after it was flipped onto its side by a Ford Mustang running a red light.
The Mustang slammed into the side of the Northern Local School District bus in Ohio on December 19, according to an accident report by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The 30 students on the bus were sitting quietly in the seconds before the accident when both vehicles spun and the bus overturned on its right side, slid off the road and struck a guardrail before stopping.

Newly released video shows students being flung from their seats and hitting the roof of the bus before crashing to the right side.
The bus driver can be heard shouting “is everybody OK” over the screaming kids before they exited emergency windows and doors.
Eight students and the 74-year-old bus driver were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The driver of the Mustang was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including a broken back.
